제목 Highly efficient blue-based hybrid organic-inorganic polymer light-emitting diodes with charge carrier balance by enhancing electron injection and blocking hole carriers.
초록 Highly efficient blue LED were demonstrated by combination effect of polar solvent treatment and hole trap using F8 : TFB blends to balance the charge carrier transport, leading to enhance the recombination of charge carriers. The interfacial dipole layer reduced the energy barrier and thicker layer effectively blocks hole carriers and reduces quenching exciton near the interface of ZnO and emissive layers. In addition, the addition of a small amount of TFB into F8 functions as hole trap due to the difference between HOMO level of F8 and TFB and balances charge carrier. Moreover, optical quenching could be reduced by inserting polar solvent layer, which was confirmed by optical loss coefficient measurement. The device stability was investigated based on the measurement of luminance and luminance efficiency under ambient air condition. The F8-based and F8:TFB blend-based device performances with polar solvent treatment showed almost the same as initial values for a long time.
