제목 Control of Molecular Packing Orientations of Thieno-Benzo-Isoindigo-Based Polymers through Modulating Thin-Film Fabrication Condition
초록 Polymers with high performance organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) characteristics usually show preference for edge-on packing orientation. From face-on orientation-dominant thieno-benzo-isoindigo (TBIG), which is one of the isoindigo (IIG) derivatives, we devote our attention to elicit edge-on orientation by modulating thin-film fabrication condition. Grazing-incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXD) analysis results show the TBIG polymer thin-films with rapid solvent evaporation demonstrate more intense π-π spacing peaks near the qxy plane due to in-plane π-stacking. At least twice higher hole mobility is achieved with in-depth control of solution-process condition and this result opens the possibility of molecular packing orientation control without exacting synthetic strategies.
