For a typical solar cell, about 30% of the incident light is lost to reflection, and reducing this reflection in a key design principle for making high-quality solar cells. Here, we introduce colloidal silica suspension materials via a spin-coating process. When depositing silica materials on the transparent conducting substrate’s front side, formed a multi-functional layer (MFL), the effects of the anti-reflection (AR), and also having the more effects anti-fogging (AF) and self-cleaning properties were investigated. The AR effects can decrease reflectance and increase the transmittance as control refractive index when the formation of silica nanoparticle aggregate upon aging. Also, the MFL has a high contact surface area that appears super-hydrophilic phenomenon, the AF effect. As a result, the improved OSCs efficiency was observed compared with based on conventional OSCs. |
