제목 | Highly Enhanced Activity of Defect-Induced Titania Nanoparticles for SolarLight-Driven CO2 Reduction into CH4 |
초록 | Photocatalytic conversion of CO2 to fuel isan exciting means to solve current energy and global warming problems. However,the synthesis of highly active photocatalysts remains an unmet problem. Herein,we utilize Pt NPs sensitized, blue-colored reduced titania for photocatalyticconversion of CO2 into methane (CH4). Thematerial promotes solar spectrum photoconversion of CO2 to CH4with the rate of 80.35 μmol g−1 h−1. The excellent activity and stability of the samplessuggest that a controlled combination of surface defects, oxygen vacancy, bandalignment, and an optimized amount of Pt cocatalyst enables an effectivephotocatalyst for photoconversion of CO2 to fuel. |
