제목 | Membrane-based zero-gap CO2 electrolysis with trimetallic AuCuIn cathode |
초록 | Carbon utilization technology has gradually been interested to reduce the emission of CO2 in the atmosphere and mitigate the global warming. CO2 electrolysis system has recognized as one of the promising technologies that electrochemically split the stable CO2 and produce the useful energy resources. Recently, electrocatalysts exhibiting high performance have been investigated for CO2 electrolysis system. Furthermore, studies for direct reduction of CO2 gas have been conducted to improving the utilization efficiency. In this study, we investigate trimetallic AuCuIn catalyst for the electrochemical reduction of CO2 to CO. The atomic ratio and crystallinity of the AuCuIn catalyst is related to catalytic performance that exhibits reasonable selectivity of CO2 conversion to CO. Furthermore, the AuCuIn catalyst is used as a cathode for membrane-based CO2 electrolyzer which investigates high performance of the gas-phase CO2 electrolysis. |
