제목 Fibre loading effect on Dynamic mechanical and Thermal properties of natural fiber reinforced Polypropylene Biocomposites.
초록 Polypropylene biocomposites reinforced with henequen or kenaf fibers with varying contents were prepared and dynamic mechanical and thermal properties were investigated. Biocomposites were manufactured with different fiber loading from 20wt% to 50wt% by compression molding. The dynamic mechanical and thermal properties of biocomposites with varying fiber contents were analyzed and compared to PP matrix itself. While the storage modulus of the biocomposite reinforced with HQ/PP shows the highest dynamic mechanical properties with 30wt% fiber loadings, KE/PP biocomposite shows the highest value with 40wt% fiber loadings. Also, we investigated the relationship between thermal properties and fiber loadings using TGA and TMA in terms of developing the thermally stable biocomposites.
