Meltable Poly(acrylonitrile –co-butadiene) as a Potential Carbon fiber precursors |
| 초록 |
Carbon fibers which have high-strength to weight ratio. However carbon fiber has high cost and difficulties in processing. Developing and demonstrating a meltable PAN precursors to producing precursor for carbon fiber. We tried to crosslink the neat Poly(acrylonitrile-co-butadiene) by UV irradiation in the presence of an photoinitator. The curing process was followed by infrared spectroscopy and insolubilization test. |
