Mineralization for improved the biocompatibility of chitosan-collagen scaffold |
초록 |
Chitosan is an N-deacetylated derivative of chitin, recommended as a functional material suitable for tissue substitutes because this natural polymer was excellent properties such as biocompatibility, biodegradability, non-toxicity, adsorption properties, etc. In this study, we examined the effect of crosslinkers on the property of chitosan-collagen scaffolds. The biological function of the scaffolds was examined via cell assays. The physicochemical properties of mineralized collagen scaffolds were evaluated using a scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). Results display that mineralization brought forth considerable changes in proliferation and differentiation of osteoblast. |
