Triarylamine derivatives have attracted considerable interest due to their low ionization potential, low electron affinity and high hole mobility that are necessary for hole transporting materials in electronic devices. Incorporation of naphthol units into the triarylamine based polymer is interesting because the naphthol units are expected to enhance hole mobility as well as electron density. We have synthesized triarylamine based polymers through oxidative coupling reaction from the triarylamine monomer containing naphthol units. Detailed synthesis and properties of the polymer will be presented. |
