제목 Effect of Monomer Varied Composition on Adhesive Performance for Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives
초록 A group of pressure-sensitive adhesives with different monomer composition were prepared using radical polymerization. The monomers were acrylate monomer, hydroxyl acrylate monomer, and functional vinyl monomer. 2-Ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA)-based copolymers were synthesized using mono-functional acrylate monomer and vinyl monomer as comonomers. The change in adhesive properties with the change in monomer concentration was studied. The adhesives obtained with constant thickness were coated onto a poly(ethylene terephthalate) film and evaluated for adhesive performance by measuring their tackiness, peel strength.
