제목 Relationships between the grain boundary plane distributions (GBPDs) and ionic structure of polycrystalline YIGs obtained from Sol-Gel method
초록 In this study, we measured the grain boundary plane distributions (GBPDs) of polycrystalline YIG (Yittria Iron Garnet), obtained from a Sol-Gel method, using the electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) technique. Then, the result was rationalizaed by investigating the ionic structure of YIG. The YIG samples were annealed at 1400 oC for various annealing time in air and furnace-cooled. Using the 2d EBSD measurement, we observed the self-similarity during the annealing such as the grain size distribution, grain texture, the grain boundary misorientation texture, and grain boundary plane distributions.
