제목 | Conductive polymer coating via vapor reaction printing on as-prepared electrode for high performance lithium ion batteries |
초록 | Recently, the high energy and power density LIB is demanded for applications such as electrical vehicles(EVs) and energy storage systems(ESS). LiFePO4 is one of the promising cathode materials for the high performance LIB, because of its high theorithical capacity(170mA h g-1), cycle stability, and low cost. However, it is limited to high power LIB, beacuse of intrinsic electric and ionic conductivity. Many studies have been reported to overcome this porbles by using nanoscale particles, carbon coating, surface coating with organic/inorganic materials on the particle scale for high conductivity. Nevertheless, the resulting decrease in the volumetric capacity and the complexity of the required manufacturing conditions are problematic for a particle-scale coating techniques. Here, we report a facile alternative way to conformal conductive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) through vapour reaction printing (VRP) on as-prepared electrodes. |
