제목 Sinterability and Dielectric Characteristics of Hydrothermally Synthesized Nanocrystalline BaTiO3 Powders
초록 Ultrafine barium titanate powders with narrow particle size distribution require for the improvements in development of multilayer ceramic capacitors. Hydrothermally synthesized nanocrystalline barium titanate powder used for high capacitance of MLCC. In this experiment, green chips of 0603 series (0.6 mmⅩ0.3 mmⅩ0.3 mm) with 1.2 um thickness dielectric layer were prepared and sintered at 1135℃ for 2 hr. in a reducing atmosphere. Influence of characterization of barium titanate powder on the microstructure and dielectric properties was investigated using SEM, TEM(EELS), DSC. From the results, it was revealed that the presence of barium carbonate in raw powders play an important role in determining sinterability of barium titanate.
