제목 One-step Synthetic Route for Poly(Styrene/Thiophene) Core-shell Particles via Recycling Oxidative and Surfactant-free Emulsion Polymerization
초록 Noble synthetic method of poly(styrene/thiophene) (poly(St/Th)) core-shell nanoparticles via one-pot synthesis using surfactant-free emulsion polymerization and recycling oxidative polymerization have been studied by absorption, emission, and particle morphology. Initiators of radical and recycling oxidative polymerization are potassium persulfate and ferric chloride/hydrogen peroxide (catalyst/oxidatant), respectively. Electrostatic stabilization of nanoparticles was occurred by sulfonate group of sodium 4-styrene sulfonate as co-monomer of radical polymerization. The average particle size of the particle was approximately 300 nm and its core-shell morphology was confirmed by TEM images. Growth mechanism for the formation of the core-shell poly(St/Th) particles was proved by changes of SEM, GPC, FT-IR and ζ-potential data with time-evolution. The core-shell particles showed conductivity and optical properties.
