In this study, the bar coating method was used to make transparent conductive film on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film. Multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWNTs) was treated by chemical method to obtain hydroxyl-functionalized MWNTs (MWNTs-OH) and silver coated MWNTs (MWNTs-Ag). The high degree of dispersion of the MWNTs-OH and MWNTs-Ag were used as conductive fillers, respectively in the solution of solvent: methanol, conductive polymer matrix: poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and urethane as a binder. CNTs powders were dispersed in ranging from 0.01 wt. % to 0.05 wt. % in PEDOT conductive polymer matrix, and it leads to a marked improvement in the electrical properties compare with the PEDOT coated film. Furthermore, different morphology and aggregation behavior of conductive filler were investigated by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-Ray diffraction and Transmission electro microscope (TEM). |
