Measurements of tension modulus change due to crosslinking of Polystyrene nanofiber. |
초록 |
Electrospinning has been utilized as an efficient technique for the fabrication of polymer nanofibers. We made Polystyrene nanofiber by electrospinning. Modulus of PS nanofiber was not measured directlly because PS was originally brittle. However, we developed a simple methord for tensile properties of electrospinning nanofiber by using a computerized spring-balance/step-motor setup. Calculation of total cross-sectional areas for each sample with vertically aligned nanofibers was readily done by SEM image and optical micrograph. And measured this by simple instrument and compared the change of modulus of crosslinking Polystyrene nanofiber. By this simple and accurate measurement, change of physical property due to nanocomposit in nanofiber and crosslinking aget was clearly verified. |
