제목 Multi-stacked light-emitting diodes and full-color displays using transfer-printed assemblies of colloidal quantum dots
초록 The Light-emitting diodes with quantum dots show promise in the development of next-generation displays, because QDs demonstrate high quantum yields, extremely narrow emission, spectral tunability and high stability. Layered assembly structures composed of nanodots have attracted considerable attention as promising candidates for new functional devices, whose optical, electromagnetic, and electronic behaviors are determined by the spatial arrangement of component elements. In this talk, we report a pick-and-place-based transfer printing technique which enables 3D heterogeneous multi-stacking of QD monolayers as well as fine patterning of QD films in a large area. We demonstrate a large-area full-color QD display, including in flexible form, and also demonstrate 3D multi-stacked nanostructures composed of QD monolayers with different sizes. By controlling the emission spectrum through designed monolayer stacking, we have achieved white emission with stable optoelectronic properties.
