제목 | Preparation and Characterization of Electrospun Fibers of Polyaniline and Poly(ethylene oxide) Blend |
초록 | Conducting polymer composites which can be easily prepared by both chemical and electrochemical polymerization, have been investigated because of potential applications in batteries, electrochromic devices, sensors, and antistatic materials 1,2. However, the processing of this polymer is difficult because PANI decomposes below its melting point. To improve the processability of PANI, copolymers and composites have been developed 3,4. Generally, the conducting polymer composites or blends can combine the flexibility and toughness of the host polymer with the electrical conductivity of the conductive polymer that is brittle. On the other hand, Electrospinning is a simple method used in the preparation of polymer fibers. For an application of nano-electronic devices, fabrication of nanofibers of conducting electronic polymers has recently been demonstrated 5. In this study, PANI/PEO blend nanofibers are prepared by electrospinning method and the conductivity and the micro-structure of fibers are investigated. Furthermore, the thermal properties of blend fiber are studied by using DSC and TGA method. The SEM micrograph of the electrospun PANI-CSA/PEO fibers containing 9wt.% PANI doped with CSA(10-camphor sulfonic acid) is shown in Figure 1.
