제목 | Aryl ether dendron - fuctionalized Aluminum tris(8-hydroxyquinoline) (AlQ3) |
초록 | Aluminum tris(8-hydroxyquinoline) (AlQ3) is one of the most stable and fluorescent solid state materials.1 One limitation associated with AlQ3 is its poor processability from its poor solubility.2 To solve this problem, we introduced dendritic moiety which has good processing ability. In this study, we used aryl ether dendron as dendritic moiety. By introducing aryl ether dendron through imin linking with 5-amino-8-hydroxyquinoline core, we could get desired product which showed enhanced processability such as good solubility in common organic solvent and good film formability on Si wafer and quartz plate. So we could check its UV absorption and PL emission spectrum in both solid and solution state. Figure 1, 2 show their results. Figure 1. UV-sorption Figure 2. PL-emission Reference 1.
