제목 | Synthesis of Novel Poly(benzyl ether) dendrimers with ester- and hydroxymethyl-end-functional groups |
초록 | Dendrimers are relatively new class of macromolecules and are different from the conventional polymers. dendrimer synthesis is well suited to obtaining special functions like non-linear optic chromophores for realizing large EO coefficients. Also, dendritic structure can be used to control solubility and processability to improve chemical and photochemical stability. In this preliminary work, we will discuss the synthesis of new Poly(benzyl ether) dendrimers with ester- and hydroxymethyl- end-functional groups. The chemical structures of the dendrimers were identified by 1H NMR, IR, and Mass spectra. Also, physical and thermal properties were measured for their application. |
