제목 | Lipid extraction of Tetraselmis sp. KCTC12429BP using hexane-based solvent mixture: Effect of solvent volume and fatty acid content of feedstock |
초록 | Solvent extraction experiment was performed as follow. After 10 g of microalgae in an Erlenmeyer flask, certain amounts of hexane and methanol mixtures were poured into the flask. The mixture was then shaken for 2 hours. The hexane was evaporated using a rotary evaporator to leave behind the extracted lipids. Lipid yields considerably affected until the total solvent volume/dry algae was increased to 5 mL/g. The lipid yields slightly increased up to 10 mL/g, then remained almost constant at higher solvent volumes. References 1. M. Mubarak, A. Shaija, and T. V. Suchithra, Algal Res. 7, 117 (2014). |
