제목 Anisotropic Gold Nanoparticles End-deposited with Pd for NIR Light Induced Tumor Catalytic Therapy
초록 Anisotropic gold nanoparticles possessing localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) have shown emerging interest as enzyme mimics. LSPR can offer local electric field enhancement and induce the generation of hot carriers, which subsequently lead to enhanced intrinsic enzyme-like activity for the generation of ROS. Here, we synthesized uniform gold nanobipyramids, with selective deposition of palladium nanoparticles at the end. The rational design herein proposed allowed a facile collection of induced hot carriers at the incorporated Pd centers, facilitating the generation of hydroxyl radicals. LSPR-enhanced peroxidase-like activity was further confirmed by hydrogen peroxide and TMB.  Under NIR light irradiation, in vitro catalytic therapeutic effect could be significantly enhanced in proportion to the loading of the incorporated bimetallic nanomaterials. Our work highlights the ability of this novel and highly efficient hybrid nanocomposite as a NIR-responsive cancer therapy
