제목 Cell Adhesion Properties of p-DioxanonePlasma Polymerized Surfaces
초록 p-Dioxanone were plasma polymerized on polystyrene (PS) substrate to observe the effect of cell adhesion at various plasma conditions. Plasma potential and density were measured by Langmuir prove and they increased with RF power. FT-IR spectra showed that the two new peaks were found at ~1780 cm-1 (-C=O) and 1214 cm-1 (-C-O) for p-Dioxanone plasma polymerization and they increased with RF power and oxygen feed rate. It indicates that p-Dioxanone transformed into oxygen containing groups and consequently water contact angle of plasma polymerized p-Dioxanone changed to ~ 62°. Hydrophobic polystyrene surface changed to hydrophilic by p-Dioxanone plasma polymerization. In-vitro evaluation of biocompatibility was carried out and cell attachment on the plasma polymerized p-Dioxanone films were found to be more intensive than the untreated PS. Cell adhesion of p-Dioxanone plasma polymerized PS at 50 W without oxygen feeding increased by upto 620% compared to that of untreated PS.
