Display is essential for humans to lead the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, visualizing the digital data. Display is being manufactured to various form factors such as rollable, foldable, stretchable and flexible, to make them familiar and convenient for human use. Adhesive materials for flexible displays require excellent adhesion property to hold each layer firmly during repeated bending and flexibility to be stretched and recovered easily. We introduce key research trends such as crosslinking degree control, elastomer dispersion, and UV curing pattern study to improve the flexibility of adhesive materials. In particular, we focus on research about optimizing UV curing density patterns to acrylic transparent adhesive materials. |
