제목 Colored Single-Chain Polymer Nanoparticles (SCPNs) via Intramolecular Chain Collapse from Polystyrene-co-Poly[4-((4-vinylbenzyl)oxy)phthalonitrile]
초록 Polymeric nanoparticles have recently attracted widespread interest in numerous applications, including nanomedicines, building blocks for organic photovoltaics, conducting materials to sensors and nanocatalysts. In this study, colored polymeric nanoparticles containing copper phthalocyanines (CuPc) were prepared by cyclotetramerization of phthalonitrile groups on precursor copolymers with excess of phthalonitrile at diluted condition. The formation of CuPc was confirmed using UV/Vis. spectroscopy. The shape and size of the polymeric nanoparticles was observed by AFM. GPC showed that the apparent molecular weight of the polymeric nanoparticles decreased due to intramolecular cross-linking of precursor copolymer. We further prepared and characterized the colored polymeric nanoparticles for different compositions of 4-((4-vinylbenzyl)oxy)phthalonitrile.
