In this study, we designed a co-electrospun membrane composed with gelatin (GE) and Poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) fibrous sheet containing silver sulfadiazine (AgSD) which included within PLGA site as a various concentrations (0,0.1,0.5,1wt%). To characterize of scaffold, outcomes were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), Energy Dispersive using X-Ray (EDX), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) were employed. As an in vitro test, osteoblast (MC3T3-E1) cells cultured on scaffolds to confirm the cell proliferation followed by an antibacterial activity was evaluated against gram-negative, gram-positive and methicillin-resistant bactera. All experiment results indicate that our products had a potential abilities toward the antimicrobial effect which may be useful nanofibrous scaffold to prevent the osteomyelitis in bone tissue engineering field. |
