제목 Enhancement of High Temperature Performance of LiMn2O4 by CsY coating for Li-ion Batteries
초록 Spinel LiMn2O4 coated with CsY in order to enhance the cycle performance at high temperature (55℃). The uncoated and CsY-coated LiMn2O4 materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and electrochemical tests. XRD, SEM and TEM results indicated that CsY particles encapsulated the surface of the LiMn2O4 without causing any structural change. The cycle tests showed that the specific discharge capacity fade of pristine electrode at 55℃ was 97.9%, respectively. The improvement of electrochemical performance is attributed to suppression of Mn2+ dissolution into electrolyte via CsY layer.
