제목 | Uplifted chemicophysics properties of modified cyanoacrylate bio-adhesive |
초록 | Cyanoacrylates are widely used as multifunctional adhesives for medical application. However, drawbacks such as brittleness and short-term adhesion retentivity have limited their applicability. In this study, in order to enhance the adhesive strength and flexibility of cyanoacrylates as bio-adhesive, biodegradable poly(L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) (PLCL) were chosen as additives. Further, allyl cyanoacrylate (AC) is introduced as an advanced form of cyanoacrylate because of good mechanical properties by reactive double bond in intramolecule. Therefore, we can infer that the addition of the polymers to the cyanoacrylate improves their bond strength, flexibility, and biocompatibility as bio-adhesive.
