제목 Production of hydrogen by autothermal reforming of propane over perovskite catalysts
초록 The performance of peroveskite-like oxide catalysts in propane autothermal reforming (ATR) for hydrogen production was investigated in the present study. Peroveskite-like catalysts were synthesized by citrate method and were used for autothermal reforming using as a model compound representing propane. Reaction test was conducted using a feed of H2O/C/O2=3/1/0.37 at in a temperature range from 300°C to 700°C. Catalysts were characterized by using XRD, TEM, SEM, EDX methods.
The sequence of the activities of the perovskite LaBO3(B=Ni, Co, Fe, Zn) for autothermal reforming of propane was Ni>Co≈Fe>Zn. The activities of the perovskite ANiO3(A=La, Nd, Gd, Sm, Ce) for autothermal reforming of propane was similar. All of the peroveskite-like oxide series showed a well-defined peroveskite structure. After reduction of LaNiO3, Ni crystallites size between 20~30nm were produced. Among the perovskite-like oxide series, LaNiO3 proved to be the most active catalysts with the highest H2-yield.
