제목 Synthesis and characterization of poly [itaconic acid-co-poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether acrylate] hydrogels for biomedical application.
초록 Hydrogels were prepared by free radical crosslinking copolymerization using poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether acrylate as tackifier. Their morphology, biocompatibility, mechanical and thermal properties were influenced by comonomer ratio in these copolymers. The mechanical properties of copolymers were investigated using the dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and universal testing machine (UTM), while their thermal properties and morphology were examined by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The morphology, mechanical and thermal properties of these hydrogels were found to be suitable for most requirements of biomedical applications.
