Nowadays, stimuli-responsive block copolymer micelles are highly preferred for developing multifunctional nonmaterial's. This work introduced the development of multi sensitive polymer responsive to pH, temperature and redox environment. To prepare the targeted polymer, firstly Pluonic-g-poly (hydroxymethacrylate-g-benzoic acid) [Plu-g-P (HEMA-g-BA)] was synthesized. Then, NIPAAm based thermo-responsive copolymer Poly(NIPAAm-co-DEAEMA) and Poly(NIPAAm-co-MAA) were conjugated to Plu-g-P (HEMA-g-BA). All polymers were characterized via nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-NMR), UV - visible spectrophotometer (UV-vis), Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR), gel-permeation chromatography (GPC). The polymers showed changes in LCST behavior in response to temperature, pH and DTT. Therefore, the synthesized polymers are attractive candidate for widespread biomedical application particularly in drug delivery system. |
