Red light (600-700 nm) among sunlight is known to be the most important wavelength for photosynthesis. The higher red / far red ratio in sunlight (originally 1.2) is more favorable for photosynthesis. The red / blue ratio is about 0.8, but it is known to be more advantageous for photosynthesis if it is above 1.0. Therefore, when the light in the 480-600 nm region, which is a wavelength band with less utilization of photosynthesis, is converted into red light, it is considered to be advantageous for the growth of the plants. In this study, low density polyethylene (LDPE) based light conversion greenhouse film was prepared with red fluorescent dyes in DPP(diketopyrrolopyrrole) species (BTB, HTB, OTB). Optical properties, mechanical properties, and long - term stability of the prepared films were measured and evaluated. |
