Energy conversion efficiency of fluorine doped TiO2based dye-sensitized solar cells |

The fluorine-doped TiO2 were used as a photoelectrode material in a high performance dye-sensitized solar cells due to the effects of fluorine doping. In order to investigate the effects of introduced fluorine groups on TiO2 on the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells, the fluorination of TiO2 was carried out at various temperatures. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of fluorine-doped TiO2 were obtained to investigate the phases and the crystal structures using an XRD analysis. Photocurrent-voltage (I-V) curve characteristics were measured by I-V curve analyzer under AM 1.5 (100mW/cm2) irradiation using a solar simulator. In photocurrent-voltage curve, the efficiency of prepared dye-sensitized solar cells was improved about maximum 3 folds by fluorine-doping on TiO2. |
