제목 Selective sequesting of functional materials in self assembled structure
초록 The role of self-assembled soft materials such as block copolymers or colloidal particles aims at templating the nanostructure and fabricating into its desirable functions by sequestering functional materials. Block copolymer or colloidal particles can self-assemble to form various periodic nanostructures. Depending on the nano-sized functional elements, it might comprise the mechanical reinforced materials, wave-guiding photonic materials or bio-active sensors. In this talk, several recent attempts have been introduced regarding on sequestering selectively functional nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes or titania nanoparticles in periodic structures. In this study, a lamellar forming polystyrene-b-isoprene was used as the structure-guiding materials in ordering the PS-functionalized CNTs anisotropically in PS domain. Another attempt focuses on the effect of light enhancement using the inverse opal structures of titania templated from three-dimensional colloidal arrays.
