Proton Exchange Membranes Containing Triazole Functionalized with Mesoporous Silica (SBA-15) for High Temperature Fuel Cell |
초록 |
Triazole shows high ionic conductivity without water at high temperatures due to the transfer of protons between neighboring protonated and unprotonated molecules. But it may leach out gradually with cell operational time, which would lead to decrease in the proton conductivity. Therefore, benzotriazole-5-carboxylic acid was reacted on the inner surface of mesoporous silica SBA-15 tubes to form a proton conductive pathway, and the SBA-15/triazoles were introduced into Nafion. The SBA-15/triazole/Nafion membranes showed the proton conductivity of 1.12 X 10-2 S/cm at 130 °C and low humidity (~20%). |
