Photo-curing polymers are prepared through reactions of pre-polymers in diluents with photo-initiators. Curing conditions such as chemical types and concentrations of diluents and initiators can affect reaction rates and properties of cured film. We investigated the effects of photo-initiators with different absorption wavelengths and diluents with di, three, and hexa functional groups on the curing reactions of photo-curable organic coating films by using photo DSC, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy. The mechanical properties of the cured coatings were also studied with different curing conditions. |
