Zn-air rechargeable battery is good attention due to stability, low cost and environmental benignity. but, it is required many improvements which is cycleability and catalytic activity for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs), as subclass of metal organic framewoks (MOFs), are crystalline materials composed of tetrahedrally coordinated transition metal ions (Zn, Co, Fe, Cu) and imidazolate linkers. It has a good thermal and chemical stabilities and high porosity. We synthesized catalysts derived ZIF-67 which is composed of Co2+ ion and 2-methylimidazolate by heat-treatment under nitrogen and hydrogen mixed atmosphere. (N2:H2=9:1) The catalysts were composed of Co3O4 and Co metal and Carbon under 700oC and Co3O4 was changed to Co metal from 800oC. Catalytic performance for OER and ORR was measured by three electrode cell in alkaline solution. |
