제목 EFFECT OF THERMAL TREATMENT ON PVP STABILIZED ZnS NANOPARTICLES
초록 ZnS nanoparticles capped with Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) were synthesized by chemical co- precipitation method using zinc acetate and thiourea as starting materials. The structural, compositional and optical properties as a function of annealing temperature were examined. The X-ray diffraction spectra showed that the synthesized ZnS nano nanoparticles have a cubic zinc blende structure with particle size of about 2 nm and the particle size increased with annealing temperature.  The UV–Vis absorption studies further attested the nanocrystalline nature. Absorption edge red shifted upon increasing annealing temperature. Photoluminescence spectra showed red shift upon annealing.
