제목 Bio-inspired carbonaceous filler for polypropylene composites
초록 The carbonaceous filler material for polypropylene comsposites were prepared through carbonization of citric acid and tannic acid and subsequent functionalization with Cashew Nut Shell Liquid by esterification using DCC and DMAP. The size of prepared particles was about 200 nm and the height ranged about 6 - 7 nm. The carbonized particles were named as bGO and functionalized particles were cbGO. A sereies of PP/cbGO composites were fabricated with twin extruder and their mechanical and thermal properties were examined. With the addition of cbGO the mechanical properties and thermal popeties of composites increased which can be explained by incrinsic strength of bGO and the enhancement of compatibility by functionalization with CNSL. A comparative study using different functionalization pathway would be performed.
