Direct grafting pH-responsive polymer on single walled carbon nanotubes in water for target specific release of doxorubicin. |
초록 |
A direct grafting functionalized poly(styrene-alt-maleic anhydride) (PSM) on single walled carbon nanotube (SWCNTs) in water was demonstrated by Diels-Alder click chemistry. The obtained material was then exploited for pH-responsive drug delivery system for doxorubicin. Firstly, block copolymers PSMA were prepared by RAFT polymerization and simultaneously functionalized with furfuryl amine and poly (ethylene glycol). The polymer was subsequently grafted on SWCNTs in water by ultrasound-assisted method. The composite material was loaded with doxorubicin via ionic bond and characterized by Raman spectroscopy, TGA, FT-IR and TEM analysis. In vitro drug release experiments showed the drug release rate under an acidic condition of tumor cell microenvironment at 5.8 is higher than under physiological condition at pH 7.4. The developed PSM-SWCNTs hold a high potential to be used as an efficient anticancer drug carrier for tumor-targeted chemotherapy. |
