제목 Eco-friendly and biodegradable RFID chips
초록 Today, petroleum-originated plastic materials have contributed greatly to daily lives and industrial development of modern society. However, it has emerged as a cause of serious environmental pollution such as incineration and landfill of various waste vinyl, styrofoam, and plastic containers generated in large quantities. To solve this environmental problem, biodegradable plastic, which is competitive to the synthetic plastic will be an alternative substrate as an environmentally friendly and harmless plastic, that can be rotted by microorganisms in the soil. In this study, biodegradable RFID substrates were fabricated using carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and crosslinker. This is expected to be developed into an environmentally friendly RFID substrate in near future, which can facilitate 4th industrial revolution.
