제목 Photovoltaic performance optimization for the Tandem DSSC containing NiO-based blocking layers in photocathode to enhance the Electron mobility
초록 The photovoltaic performance of tandem pn-dye-sensitized solar cells has been limited by the poor performance of the available p-DSCs. A simplistic method of introducing a compact NiO blocking layer into a poor performing photocathode network of p-DSCs and pn-DSCs is presented to improve the photovoltaic performance using a cobalt-based redox mediator. The NiO blocking layer prepared via a simple spin-coating method using a nickel acetate precursor solution. For the photoelectrodes, we have selected well known SQ and P1 dyes for n-DSC and p-DSC which showed a complementary nature in absorbing solar irradiation at different wavelengths.
