제목 The synthesis and application of thermally-stable cyan dyes for six-color patterned (RGBCMY) LCD color filters
초록 Four cyan phthalocyanine dyes were synthesized to improve the color gamut of liquid crystal display color filters, and their thermal properties were examined by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). Dye-based color filters were also fabricated using the synthesized dyes. The spectral properties and thermal stability of the color filters were investigated by comparing them with pigment-based ones. The prepared color filters showed superior spectral properties due to the smaller particle size of the dyes, and their thermal stability was similar to those of the pigment-dispersed color filters. The results showed that the prepared dyes could be successfully applied in six-color patterned (RGBCMY) liquid crystal display color.
