Fabrication of nanoporous polyimide(PI) is one of interesting approach to obtain usefulness for supports materials in catalyst or electrode. Considering excellent chemical, thermal, and mechanical properties of polyimide, combination of porous PI with conducting polymer provides increased structural stability of electrode used in capacitors. In this work, nanoporous PI with 50 – 200 nm pore was prepared through ‘swelling-gel and precipitation’ method. The pores in porous PI thin films were filled or coated by polypyrrole(PPy) as a conducting polymer for use as electrode in supercapacitor. The structure of porous PI/PPy was investigated by SEM and TEM, and its electrical properties were studied. |
