Graphene oxide having highly sulfonated polymer chain (SATS-GO) as filler materials for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) application |
초록 |
Graphene oxide having sulfonated polymer chain (SATS-GO) was prepared in a mild reaction condition to use as filler materials for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). SATS-GO was incorporated with sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) (SPAES) to from the composite membranes. To research the effect of SATS-GO on PEMs, pristine GO composite membrane was also prepared as a control membrane. SATS-GO composite membranes showed higher proton conductivity and enhanced properties than the pristine SPAES membrane. In addition, SATS-GO had better compatibility with polymer matrix than pristine GO due to the additional sulfonic acid groups in GO. Especially, SPAES/SATS-GO-2.0 composite membrane having 2 wt% of SATS-GO showed the highest proton conductivity of 4.63 mS cm-1 at 80 oC and 40% RH. |
