제목 | Production of biodegradable functional polymer(PHB) using pyomelanin |
초록 | In this study, polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) and pyomelanin were produced in one-pot from engineered Escherichia coli. By incorporating the PHB and pyomelanin produced together, it was attempted to make a high-functionality PHB with improved thermal stability. 0.52± 0.16 g/L of pyomelanin and PHB was produced, pyomelanin dissolved in DMSO was sonicated and incorporated with PHB (pyoPHB). The melting point(Tm) of pyoPHB was increased by 12% compared to the control PHB, and the antioxidant activity of the pyoPHB film was increased by 16% compared to the control PHB film. The electrical conductivity also increased more than 10 times compared to the control PHB, but this was a result that was not significantly different from that of general plastics. |
