Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are three-dimensional structureswith diverse functionalities due to their unique alignment of metal ions andorganic ligands. MOFs diverse properties including high surface areas, highporosity and thermal stability allows their potential for broad usage as materialsfor hydrogen storage, specific volatile organic compounds (VOCs) capture, catalysis, drug delivery, chemical sensor, photoluminescence, solar cells, batteries, etc. Herein, we present a novel strategy for a fast and green synthesizeof γ-CD-MOFs-K usinga vapor diffusion method. In which exposure of immersed fibrous substrate in γ-CD-MOFsand K+ to methanol in a closed chamber at roomtemperature for 24 hours can result in homogenous grow of γ-CD-MOFs-K crystalson the surface of oxygen treated substrates. |
