Electrorheological properties of carbon nanotubes/polyelectrolyte self-assembled sulfonated PS particles by layer by layer self-assembly |
초록 |
Sulfonated polystyrene (PS) particles were prepared by sulfonation of PS microspheres with H2SO4. Then, composite particles were synthesized by layer by layer (LbL) self-assembly with multiwall carbon nanotubes (MCNTs) and polyelectrolytes on sulfonated PS particles. The properties of self-assembled multilayers containing carbon nanotubes on sulfonated PS particles were studied. Prepared particles were characterized by Infrared Spectroscopy (IR), zeta-potential analysis and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). In addition, the electrorheological(ER) properties of composite particles influenced by the number of multilayer were investigated under controlled electric fields. |
