Tribological and Mechanical Properties of Natural Rubber Compounds with Organic Solvent-treated Milled Carbon Fibers and Carbon Blacks |
| 초록 |
In this work, the effect of surface treatment method of milled carbon fibers on tribological and mechanical properties of natural rubber compounds was investigated. The milled carbon fiber surfaces were treated with three types of organic solvents (benzene, toluene, and xylene). The compounds containing various surface treatment methods were prepared using internal mixer and two-roll mill with other ingredients including antioxidant and reinforcement. Tribological and mechanical properties of the compounds were studied. |
