Piezoelectric nanogenerator using conductive polymer and silver nanowires as an electrodes |

In the present work, we demonstrate a flexible piezoelectric nanogenerators (PNGs) using Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) substrate. Herein, we synthesized Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) derivative PEDOT-D which has good solubility and dispersion in organic solvents, excellent electrical contact with hydrophobic surface and uniform conducting network on PVDF substrate. Device performance of hybrid layer with a type of uniformly covered silver nanowire (AgNWs) network and newly synthesized PEDOT-D as electrodes has been tested. This PNGs exhibits superior energy harvesting performance with maximum piezoelectric voltage output and short circuit current density 1.51 V and 173.0 nA, respectively. |
